Under the national program of Women in Agricultural Development (WIAD) to empower women, a training on cockerel rearing and local feed formulation was conducted for women group in the municipality. This was part of an initiative to enhance women empowerment through the provision of skills training in agricultural technologies that require minimal capital, time and transportation. This training was led by MAO-APD (Municipal Agric Officer), AEA and the MDA of the department on 31st August, 2022 at Nyamebekyere in Dwease.

HIV and AIDS talk and presentation continued after the cockerel training by trained Focal person with surge in the country especially with Ashanti region leading activity was also repeated in Kyekyebiase with the Gyedi women’s groups also at Obenimase Methodist women group.
